What's New in EIOffice

Our Flagship product Evermore Integrated Office (EIOffice) was first released in 2002 and each year it has developed into a more powerful and fully integrated Office system. Written in Java, EIOffice runs on Linux, Windows and Macintosh operating systems and is the First REAL Office to offer total integration between all your primary Office documents. When you update data in a source document all linked data in other documents will automatically update.

  • You can still link data as easily as you cut and paste, but now you also have more options. Data can be linked as formatted or unformatted text improving performance when working with presentations .
  • Twelve new document Task Panes put commands all in one place making EIOffice even easier to use.
  • Too many objects in a text document to work with easily? When you need to insert a flowchart or other graphic using Science Editor Images the new Drawing Canvas features prevents graphic objects from falling in behind text and getting lost.
  • Plot and insert math functions directly in a text document, presentation of worksheet. This includes Right-Angle Coordinates, Trigometric Functions, Conics, Exponents, Logarithms, Polar Coordinates, Parameter Equations, and custom expressions. The ideal tool if you have some serious math homework.
  • New Pivot Report Tables now sort and sum data independent of the original worksheet data layout.
  • Changes to the Page Setup Dialog box allow document grids and the printing of footnotes attached to worksheets.
  • Add free-hand notes, lines and squiggles to text documents using the mouse cursor. An ideal tool for editors who need to mark text and send it on to someone else for correction.
  • Worried about backwards and forwards compatibility issues. Future versions of EIOffice will all be built with basic document tags, when a document has been created In a new version, older versions of EIOffice will recognize these tags and open the document indicating what new tags and data is missing.
  • EIOffice now supports a totally interactive menu system giving EIOffice even more of the look and feel of Microsoft Office. When looking for document view the EIOffice main menu will correspond to what the user would encounter using Microsoft Office.
  • Need to track documents with a barcode. EIOffice now includes an integrated bar code generator.
  • Improved resolution when creating a PDF files using EIOffice.
  • Need to work in a bilingual English Chinese work environment. EIOffice supports Chinese Characters and Asian Layout also allows Asian and Latin characters to be combined or enclosed.
  • Create a document map using headings. The Document Map will be displayed in the Document Map Task Pane on the left-hand side of the screen. Left-click on a heading to go to that section of the document.
  • Scan a text document while still reading data from a previous section. The Window > Split command divides a text document into two sections. View each of these sections independently or leave one section static and scroll through the rest of the document.

A unique Office experience, EIOffice integrates a Word Processor, Spreadsheet, Presentation and Macro Editor into one program that has all the features and functions you have come to expect from a modern Office Suite, plus new advances that allow data in EIOffice document to be inserted and updated automatically whenever the source data is changed.

“EIOffice made it ridiculously easy to create live links between documents and document types. If you want to plug the result of a spreadsheet calculation into a document or presentation, all you have to do is"copy" the spreadsheet cell and "paste as link" into the document or presentation. Once you create the link, it is nearly impossible to break it.”
